I.T. for dogs is a combination of shaping behaviours that your dog does naturally and behaviours that your dog might not normally display. Many of these behaviours can be used to correct some behaviour problems. For example dogs who bark a lot or are very excitable can be taught to lie down with their heads resting on the floor, giving you the ultimate in control and helping your dog to learn to relax on command.  Or the dog who uses his voice a lot can be taught to speak on command and then the process reversed helping him to understand the quiet.

Some of the exercises can be used to help your dog overcome shyness or fears. For example dogs worried when approached by strangers can be taught to give their paw or to greet visitors with a toy.

In order for the dog to develop, I.T. Training they will require some basic training, only dogs who have been through an Ace K9 Basic Training Course will be accepted onto an ‘I.T. For Dogs Training Course’.  I.T. for dogs consists of some very advanced exercises many of which you may only have seen performed on television.

Some of the exercises which can be taught include exercises as simple as rolling over to closing doors and limping.  Please note that not every exercise suits every dog, exercises will be chosen to suit individuals depending on their breed and level of training.  If there is something in particular that you would like your dog to learn, please mention it to me at your enrolment.

An I.T. For Dogs Training Course is 6 weeks long and is £65.00.  This fee is payable in advance of the course.
